With two recent DUI arrests of NFL players, the problem of drinking and driving within the National Football League has become more than a cause for concern. ESPN reports that Cowboy’s players, Josh Brent and Jay Ratliff, have both been arrested for DUI and that both players had a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) level that was more than twice the legal limit. Roger Goddell, commissioner of the NFL, has already met with Mothers Against Drunk Driving (M.A.D.D.) to explore education options for the teams, coaches and executives, and has promised a proactive stance on this issue.
