With the headlines over the arrest of NFL executive, Jon Sandusky, pointing to yet another drunk driving problem in the franchise, the interest in what “no-refusal” means may be picking up. NBC Sports reports that during a traffic stop where Sandusky was detained for an illegal turn, the determination that he had been drinking was eschewed by Sandusky, who refused a test to confirm the level of alcohol in his bloodstream. Unfortunately, North Dakota’s DUI laws state that by refusing the test, a person is automatically considered guilty of the offense, and must face the consequences for his or her actions.
