PennsylvaniaKeeping drunk drivers off the streets is a priority of legislators across the country, especially in states that are slower to include tough consequences for those who could potentially injure or kill others while driving drunk. According to Daily Times Politics, Pennsylvania State Senator John Rafferty has introduced a new bill that will require all convicted DUI offenders to install an ignition interlock device on their vehicles. Rafferty cites success in states where the devices are saving lives, such as Oregon and Arizona, when included in the penalties for drunk driving.
